Regatta Bay Golf Course

Here are a few tips to enhance your play at Regatta Bay:

  1. Strategize your tee shots: The course features strategically placed bunkers, water hazards, and undulating fairways. Take the time to study the layout and plan your tee shots accordingly. Positioning yourself in the fairway will set up better approach shots to the greens.
  2. Pay attention to pin placements: The greens at Regatta Bay can be challenging with subtle breaks and undulations. Before each approach shot, evaluate the pin placement and factor in the slope and contours of the green to improve your chances of sinking putts.
  3. Mind the water hazards: Water comes into play on several holes at Regatta Bay, so exercise caution and play smart around these hazards. Take conservative shots if necessary and avoid unnecessary risks to maintain a good score.

  4. Utilize course knowledge: Familiarize yourself with the course’s layout and yardages. Take note of key landmarks, yardage markers, and course guides to make informed decisions on club selection and shot strategy.

  5. Take advantage of practice facilities: Regatta Bay offers excellent practice facilities, including a driving range and putting green. Warm up before your round and spend some time honing your skills to gain confidence in your swing and feel for the greens.

  6. Stay hydrated and bring sunscreen: The Florida sun can be intense, especially during summer months. Stay hydrated throughout your round and protect yourself from the sun’s rays by wearing sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.

1

This dogleg left par 5 provides a solid opening hole. There are no hidden hazards, and a well-struck drive makes this hole reachable in two. This is definitely one of the better opportunities for birdie.

Yardage from tees: Black- 544 | Blue 515 | White- 494 | Gold 473 | Green 394 | Orange 324
Hole

2

This demanding Par 4 is tougher than it looks. Most often, this hole plays into the prevailing wind, making this long approach shot even more difficult. Take your par and run.

Yardage from tees: Black- 409 | Blue 515 | White- 494 | Gold 473 | Green 331 | Orange 252
Hole

3

This hole is the second shortest par 3 on the course. Pin placements of center or left invite birdie opportunities, but beware of the back right position.

Yardage from tees: Black- 195 | Blue 158 | White- 158 | Gold 143 | Green 106 | Orange 106
Hole

4

This difficult par 4 requires an accurate drive between two fairway bunkers. Try to leave yourself a short to mid-iron approach. The green is wide, but very shallow, placing a premium on club selection.

Yardage from tees: Black- 434 | Blue 414 | White- 390 | Gold 373 | Green 282 | Orange 224
Hole

5

Our longest par 5 boasts a generous landing area for the tee shot. It is almost impossible to reach this green in two, especially with the elevation changes by the green, a well-placed second shot that leaves a 100 yard approach is the best play. Beware of the bunker guarding the front of the green.

Yardage from tees: Black- 566 | Blue 540 | White- 540 | Gold 517 | Green 392 | Orange 363
Hole

6

This short Par 4 is absent of water and bunkers but don't lower your guard. A tee shot in the left rough often rolls further left, out of play. A middle or right fairway drive is the shot of choice. The elevated green makes for a rough target to hit. An approach missing the green will often leave a difficult pitch.

Yardage from tees: Black- 425 | Blue 396 | White- 396 | Gold 371 | Green 307 | Orange 248

7

Bring out your lumber for this Par 4! Your drive must carry uphill over an enormous bunker. This leaves a long to mid-iron approach. The approach is downhill to a well-guarded green. Winds off the gulf make club selection tricky. Par is good here.

Yardage from tees: Black- 456 | Blue 421 | White- 393 | Gold 369 | Green 333 | Orange 264
Hole

8

This may be the most beautiful par 3 on the Emerald Coast! The tee shot requires a carry over water and bunkers. The prudent player will aim for the front right portion of the green, regardless of the pin placement.

Yardage from tees: Black- 193 | Blue 169 | White- 146 | Gold 146 | Green 134 | Orange 75
Hole

9

This short par 4 demands accurate shotmaking from tee to green. An iron or fairway wood from the tee will stop short of the second wetland, leaving a mid to short-iron in to the green.

Yardage from tees: Black- 357 | Blue 336 | White- 314 | Gold 288 | Green 236 | Orange 236

10

For this Par 4 a driver may not always be the play from this tee. The highest priority should be placed on finding the fairway short of the second fairway hazard. The approach shot may attack the flag in the middle and right positions, but the left pin placement is best left alone.

Yardage from tees: Black- 403| Blue 381 | White- 359 | Gold 336 | Green 284 | Orange 248
Hole

11

A well-placed tee shot on this Par 4 to the right center of the fairway leaves your approach shot open to any pin placement on this difficult green. Breaks on this green are subtle and most move toward the water.

Yardage from tees: Black- 379 | Blue 357 | White- 341 | Gold 336 | Green 266 | Orange 266
Hole

12

This Par 5 should be played with three relatively short but accurate shots to the green. Longer hitters can play a tee shot over the fairway bunkers bordering the right side of the fairway, leaving a long iron or fairway wood to the green. To get home in two, both shots must flirt with water and sand.

Yardage from tees: Black- 450 | Blue 439 | White- 420 | Gold 3999 | Green 335 | Orange 294
Hole

13

This Par 3 requires only a confident club selection and swing. The biggest downfall here is giving more credit than is due to the high-lipped bunker guarding the front portion of the green. Trust the yardage given and aim at the flag

Yardage from tees: Black- 183 | Blue 160 | White- 152 | Gold 136 | Green 111 | Orange 111
Hole

14

This Par 4 is the shortest on the course. For most, an iron or fairway wood is the proper selection from the tee. The green is difficult to hold, but from the short distance, the proper club selection can give a good opportunity for birdie.

Yardage from tees: Black- 376 | Blue 339 | White- 319 | Gold 295 | Green 260 | Orange 260
Hole

15

This heavily-bunkered par 3 is often played with swirling winds. Since a missed green here almost assures a difficult bunker shot, always aim for the center of the green. Par is a great score.

Yardage from tees: Black- 202 | Blue 172 | White- 152 | Gold 152 | Green 135 | Orange 135
Hole

16

The toughest Par 4. It has water left, out of bounds right and a marsh area crossing the fairway, so the tee shot must be carefully planned. The green is inviting, bunkered only on the left, enabling run-up shots to get close.

Yardage from tees: Black- 432| Blue 410 | White- 356 | Gold 331 | Green 285 | Orange 236
Hole

17

This short Par 4 has no surprises. Pin placements of middle or right can be challenged for birdie. Show respect for the bunkers on the left and right. Any ball over the green is likely to leave a difficult chip.

Yardage from tees: Black- 311 | Blue 286 | White- 257 | Gold 251 | Green 227 | Orange 167
Hole 18 from Fairway
Hole

18

This par 5 may be the most memorable “risk-reward” closing hole you will ever play. A big drive makes the green reachable in two. Beware, locals call it the "Tin Cup" hole. If you play it safe, leave an approach shot of no less than 100 yards or you will have a difficult angle. You'll be talking about this one at the 19th hole.

Yardage from tees: Black- 525 | Blue 501 | White- 476 | Gold 453 | Green 399 | Orange 329
