Golf Lessons powered by PGA Pros and Trackman Technology! If your golf game needs improvement, sign up for a lesson with one of our award-winning PGA golf professionals. Our facility covers over 1,200 sq.ft of a natural grass practice, complete with greenside bunkers, putting, and short-game area. We also offer on-the-course training and video swing analysis powered by state-of-the-art Trackman technology. We can customize any lesson experience to meet your needs and help any student develop any and all aspects of their game.

Private Coaching
One on one, individual custom lesson evaluation and improvement plan. We teach individuals based on their skills and not a cookie–cutter approach of “one-size-fits-all” method or system. All lessons are 1-Hour.
Group Lessons
Juniors – After school junior group clinics will be offered to ages 7 – 14 on a weekly basis during the fall months of September, October & November, and during the spring months of February, March & April. Summer junior weekly golf camps will be offered during the months of June & July.
Women – Women’s group clinics will be offered periodically throughout the year to all skill levels from beginner to more advanced, and will include the full swing, short game, putting and on-course playing holes.
Group lessons will be taught by professionals Caleb Maraman, Madison Williams and Cutts Benedict.
Men’s Golf Schools
Seasonal, periodic “golf school style” instructional clinics for all skill levels, offered to men ages 21 & up.
Student–to–Instructor Ratio maximum of 4 to 1.

Meet Our Instructors
Mike Giammaresi
Mike is our PGA certified General Manager and Golf Director here at Regatta Bay and one of the most sought out teachers in Destin, FL. He is an accomplished player having played in a number of major USGA events. He was a nationally ranked collegiate player at the University of North Florida and started in the golf industry as a teaching professional in Tampa, Florida at the Rick Bradshaw/Jim Dent School of golf before transitioning to an assistant professional role at San Jose Country Club in Jacksonville, Florida. During his tenure there, his student base consisted of players ranging from beginners to accomplished PGA professionals and tour players. Mike is a gifted teacher and his strong knowledge of the game and swing mechanics is complemented by his exceptional ability to communicate this understanding to his students. Michael is passionate in his teaching, and brings a wonderful personality to the Regatta Bay Team.

Caleb Maraman
Lead Instructor
Over the past few years Caleb has become a more renowned Golf Professional & Instructor. Caleb is well-known locally and has been sought out in recent years as his teachings have been spread throughout the city. No doubt you have seen him around our club and witnessed his good spirited nature. He is an extraordinary player with high finishes in mini-tour events. He is 28 years old and a graduate of Niceville High School. He studied under the well-known Chris Speight and looks to further grow people’s love for the game.
“I am very excited to officially be part of the team. I have worked with all ages and abilities. My methods are simple but effective and I aim to improve my students’ games by working with each individual a little differently depending on their tendencies. I look forward to bringing my knowledge of the game to Regatta Bay”.

Madison Williams
Madison grew up playing competitive golf on the Emerald Coast Junior Tour and Fort Walton Beach High School ladies’ teams. She consistently topped the leader board throughout her tournaments, taking home first place individually at regionals for the Vikings her Senior year. Madison’s passion and love of the game was reignited after moving back to the Panhandle to take on the role as the Assistant Golf Professional at Shalimar Pointe Golf Club. There, she continued her passion of growing the game by focusing on coaching juniors and women while also pursuing her goal to acquire her PGA Class A Membership. She proved her ability as a player when she took and passed the PGA Player Ability Test (PAT) on the first try and earned the low medalist for the PAT. We are excited to have Madison join our team as the Assistant Golf Professional and can already tell she will be a great fit with both our staff and members.

Cutts Benedict
Cutts has been a full-time PGA golf professional since 1982, and has been teaching golf for over 40 years. While Cutts offers programs for all players and skill levels, he has coached 100’s of juniors who have gone on to play college golf throughout the southeast.

Herb Umphreyville
Certified Fitness Trainer
Herb has recently relocated from Southern California and is excited to join the Regatta Bay Team as the Golf Fitness Trainer. He is a Certified Personal Trainer who has worked in fitness and golf clubs throughout his career with some of the industries top companies such as Pacific Athletic Club, Egoscue (Postural Alignment Therapy), Equinox, Insand, and Tijeras Creek Golf Club before launching his own personal training business, Inside Out Golf Fitness. Herb is TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) and NASM certified.
Herb has felt privileged to train people at all fitness levels and ages from beginners to professional athletes.
